1. General practices for Thai medical students
(Thai Medical Student's General Practice)

  • Put the welfare of fellow human beings first, and personal benefit second.
  • Adhere to morality by emphasizing discipline, patience, punctuality, honesty, responsibility, humility, gratitude, reasonableness, and dressing appropriately and appropriately.
  • Behave within the framework of professionalism and act as a good example to society.
  • Be knowledgeable, learn in all aspects and apply it equally to the changes in the modern world and to benefit fellow human beings.
  • Have discretion in using resources and technology appropriately and cost-effectively according to the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy.
  • Refrain from accepting any benefits or compensation that are related or may have an impact that causes damage or leads to inappropriateness towards being a medical student, student organization, medical institution, and towards the medical profession or medical ethics.

2. Guidelines for Thai medical students towards patients

We must respect the rights of patients, honor them, and treat them appropriately as if they were teachers, with the following guidelines:
  • Keep patient confidentiality and do not disclose it except for medical purposes with the patient's consent.
  • Communicate politely with patients, provide accurate and appropriate information.
  • Do not seek other benefits from patients.
  • Taking into account the safety of patients and students themselves when providing treatment, while being aware of one's own limitations.
  • Treat patients appropriately, taking into account their feelings and respecting their privacy.

3. Thai medical students' conduct towards others
(Thai Medical Student's Practice to Others)

  • Honor and respect the dignity of teachers, seniors, friends, juniors, and all personnel at all levels in educational institutions and hospitals, including others in society.
  • Help and support each other and be kind to fellow medical students and fellow professionals.
